All changes to your running gitolite instance are made on the checked out gitolite-admin repo. They come into effect as soon as you push them to the server.

* Open conf/gitolite.conf in your editor

* Search for all occasions of the users name

* Remove the user completely or adjust permissions

* Commit and push the changes back to the server
